About cosmetic surgery for your body

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures Wellness and Health

When planning to have cosmetic surgery on your body, plan your visit well. Here are important factors to consider.

Allow plenty of time for healing. Unlike with other cosmetic surgical procedures, once you leave hospital, no one "on the outside" can tell that you have just had major surgery on your body. The after effects of the general anesthesia you had can trick you into overextending your activities in those critical early days. So when our medical concierge tells you to restrict your activity, please listen.

Clients who want to have a massive volume of fat removed by liposuction will be advised in Bangkok as to how much fat and fluid may be removed during surgery. Your surgeon will evaluate you in person in Bangkok and together, you will decide how much liposuction may be done safely and in which areas of your body.

Men and women who have tummy tucks must plan for enough time to heal. A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, typically requires both internal and external sutures. You can see the external stitches and the surgeon will remove them a few days after surgery.

The other stitches are internal in the abdominal muscles. The stitches will dissolve over time but meanwhile, you must take care to limit those activities that may compromise these stitches. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean you’re healed. After you return home, limit your physical activity for several weeks; extreme physical activity is not wise for at least three months after major surgery
